2 To ensure a smooth and uninterrupted internet connection, the new Fayetteville location must select an internet service provider to meet the project's optimal hardware and software bandwidth requirements. This is particularly important given the increasing reliance on technology and internet connectivity in modern business operations. As such, the chosen internet service provider should be able to deliver high- speed and reliable internet services that can support the various activities and applications required to operate the new Fayetteville location successfully. I. Internet Service Providers: • AT&T Business Fiber 5G This internet service provider offers the speed, security, and reliability needed to collaborate across various business locations. • Verizon FIOS Up to 880Mbs This internet service provider offers an ultra-fast fiber optic network with 99.99 % reliability. Both AT&T and Verizon are reputable internet service providers that offer effective services. While Verizon has been rated as providing the fastest internet service, AT&T receives the highest rating for overall customer satisfaction. Therefore, I recommend choosing AT&T as your internet service provider. II. 4 The company's server room will use fiber optic cables to manage the broadcast domains connected to its WAN. A standard star topology is recommended to ensure the network is resilient and easy to maintain. The office should use directional routers to enhance connectivity instead of physical Ethernet cables. This setup provides a secure network infrastructure, allowing employees to work freely in the office. Dedicated rooms equipped with the necessary tools and features are recommended to facilitate live teleconferencing. These rooms should have high-resolution TV monitors, computer towers, and other peripherals to ensure smooth and uninterrupted communication. The microphone and camera will be connected to the conference table through cabling or Bluetooth. A hard-wired internet connection will also be provided to ensure stable and reliable connectivity. To meet the printing needs of the new office location, an appropriate printer configuration solution that is efficient and secure must be identified. Several printer configuration factors must be considered, such as tracking devices, automating driver distribution, and controlling access. One approach is to have at least one workstation per floor dedicated to sending print jobs that can access the shared network drive. This option offers several advantages, such as a single connection per workstation that sends print jobs to the printer at HQ. To ensure the security and integrity of the printing process, it is advisable to use Direct IP for the printer configuration. This would enable IT personnel to easily trace the origin of any print job and enhance the printer's security by minimizing the chances of data theft during transit to the printer. Additionally, having a dedicated IP address for the printer enables efficient processing of print jobs over a Wide Area Network (WAN), essential for sending print queries to the billboard printer from the new offsite location.
