Purpose Of Advertisement Monster beverages will provide consumers with the opportunity to enhance their daily performance by rapidly fueling the body with carbohydrates and caffeine that will ultimately enhance your mental and physical capacity. Customized Workspace The past two weeks I did not customize a workspace, as I deemed it not necessary. For this project I customized it based on the tools that will be highly utilized. I customized it by adding the glyphs, clone source, shapes, brushes, brush settings, history, and eraser tool to the libraries panel. Creating the workspace made the tools easily accessible versus expanding the tool bar panel and searching through the list of tools, it prevented Me from mistakenly selecting a tool which happened periodically. I tried to switch the locations of the toolbar and libraries panel and it did not work out due to being right-handed. Design, Elements and Graphics Applied To draw the consumers attention to the advertisement, I wanted to use bright colors but also being mindful of eye strain. I wanted the colors of the background to be appealing and catching, instead of having a typical white background I decided to use a dark but bright color to attract a viewer’s attention that will draw them into the product being advertised. The focus initially will be the graphics then onto the product. Tools and Layer Applied

The tools that I used for this project were the Eraser tool, Cropping tool and Cloning tool. The cropping tool was used to cut out the background in the monster can image. The eraser tool was used to remove the remainder of the white background from the monster can, I did maintain some of the white background along the photo which created a glaring type of effect by widening the size of brush to 385, hardness of zero and soft brush. I created a separate layer to clone the monster can, by doing this it prevented the alteration of the photo. Repairing or Retouching Repairing and retouching was conducted on the monster can by trying to remove the glare from the image by utilizing the clone stamp tool to remove unwanted objects in the photo. The eraser was also used to remove the background of the monster can, I also used the eraser to make the final touches around the edges. Image Adjustment The adjustments made with the monster can background were conducted by adjusting the exposure which brightened up the photo, it was dark due to probability of poor lightning or wrong settings related to the device being used when the photo was taken. I also adjusted the tonal values that provided additional brightness to the darker areas. The shadows were also significantly reduced that significantly reduced the glare on the lower portion of the photo. The lightning photo background was originally dark blue in color and after manipulating the amount of light which overall provided a more realistic and detailed look, I decided to raise the temperature in the colors tab that turned the background to a bronze type of appearance. I decided to maintain this adjustment because I felt it would be more appealing to consumers versus the dark blue or grey appearance in the background which is common.
