CYB 210 Introduce yourself briefly. Share any professional, home, or coursework-based networking background you may have. For your initial post, discuss why a course in networking is important for this degree program. In response to your peers, compare and contrast your thoughts with those of your peers. Hello, my name is Victoria I’m going for a bachelor's in Cybersecurity. Currently, at the moment the only networking background I have is with my home network and troubleshooting that. Networking is important in all aspects of degrees that involve computers because it’s the basics of how systems communicate how the data flows and if there are weak spots in the network. Having the basic knowledge of networking makes it so you can think like an attacker and how to respond to a cyber-attack if one happens. Hi Anthony, Nice to meet you! I am also pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity. My previous class had us make a network topology for a business. The previous class taught the basics of networks. I agree with you that a person in the cyber field needs to know the ramifications that are associated with network configurations and architecture. Hi Alejandro, Nice to meet you!
