2022/9/22 19:14 [Coding Exercise] Week 3 - Kritik Peer Evaluation and feedback of Celebrity Chatbot https://canvas.sfu.ca/courses/72744/assignments/809608 1/2 [Coding Exercise] Week 3 - Kri±k Peer Evalua±on and feedback of Celebrity Chatbot Due No Due Date Points 5 Available after Sep 21 at 11:59pm This exercise is meant for you to learn from and practice giving and receiving constructive, helpful critique to and from peers. In this Canvas assignment, you will receive points but no submission needs to be done here in Canvas. Please read the instructions. You will have to do this assignment in the Kritik tool. A link to further Kritik details is provided below, including how to register. BEFORE WORKING WITH KRITIK: Register (check your SFU email) and watch the introductory video. CREATION STAGE: Submit via the Kritik tool THE SAME .py file that you submitted for your Week #2 Celebrity Chatbot (except that you should eliminate your name in the program header to make it anonymous to your peer evaluators). The creation stage deadline is Sept 23, 11:59 pm (i.e. the late deadline of the Canvas Week #2 coding exercise). Aim to submit at least an hour before. Kritik deadlines cannot be changed. EVALUATION STAGE: Immediately after the creation stage ends, the "Evaluation" stage starts, and you will have to evaluate your peers (and peers will evaluate you) , anonymously , within the Kritik tool, following the rubric in Kritik. FEEDBACK STAGE: Immediately after the evaluation stage ends, the "Feedback" stage starts, and you will provide feedback to those who evaluated you. Note: If you have any concerns about registration in Kritik contact your instructor. All the information is kept in servers in Canada. Registration is free this semester for this course. Submission and Points for this assignment: You should submit all in Kritik: your creation, the evaluations and feedback. i .e., do NOT submit anything here in this Canvas assignment. MORE INSTRUCTIONS: [Clarifications] Kritik details: registration and submission Kritik will be accessible for you for free this semester for this course. You do NOT have to pay. After all is done in Kritik, Kritik will show you your Kritik points as a percentage, based on a formula considering the three stages: Creation, Evaluation and Feedback. In particular, the creation points are an average of all the evaluations you received by different peers. Keep in mind that reasonable evaluations that you give to others and reasonable feedback will also be part of such formula. The points you will receive in this assignment (and considered in your final grade) will result from multiplying the Kritik percentage by 5, rounded up to the next integer, up to 5. Therefore, if you obtained 84% in Kritik, you will get 5 * .84 = 4.2 which rounded up to the next integer results in 5 points. This assignment is considered to be part of the Coding exercises.
