Look at various jobs related to management of IT capabilities, including infrastructure management, cloud, and cybersecurity. Your choice of jobs should be focused on jobs relating to delivering, supporting and managing the IT infrastructure. They should be related to these CompTIA skills areas: 1. Infrastructure Administration 2. Information Security 3. IT Support (but not help desk) Any jobs that are focused on help desk, applications development/programming, including programming, development and engineering; software testing and quality assurance; strategic planning/business management, including product management, business analyst, or information management or data analyst (not focused on infrastructure, data center or cybersecurity) will not be accepted for credit. b. Find at least four different relevant job descriptions of jobs currently posted that interest you. c. Review the questions below. Provide a written response for each question. Be sure to include a References or Works Cited section for any documents or URLs that you use. Be sure to include the URLs for any jobs you use for this assignment. Questions: 1. What were your four jobs? (Include the link to or URL for the job descriptions you found). In your own words , describe the knowledge and skills that these jobs require. (5 points – note, merely copying lists of knowledge and skills from the job description will net zero points) 2. Identify which of the CompTIA skill areas each of these jobs fall under and explain why you characterized them the way you did. Address how the technical knowledge and skills desired for the position relate to the CompTIA skill areas. (10 points) 3. Examine the four jobs you’ve identified in light of the eleven sets of employability skills (Conference Board). From the Conference Board’s employability skills, identify which of the eleven you feel are the three most important employability skills needed to be successful in each of these positions and explain why they are important for that job.
