Parents, do you know about Niagara Children’s Centre? It is a not-for-profit, charitable organiza- tion in St Catharines which opened in 1969. This resource can be supportive to families of chil- dren from birth to 21, who live in the Regional Municipality of Niagara. They can support par- ents who have questions about any physical, developmental, communication delay or disability that their child may be dealing with. Niagara Children’s Centre provides many different services to both children and families. They offer speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, and occu- pational therapy. Other services offered at the centre include social workers, recreational therapy, aquatics, and gait analysis. There is also a wide variety of programs for families to support the skill teaching for their child and to connect with other families for support.
