Planning Document Issue Check-In
Genetically Modified Organism, commonly known as GMOs are a significant issue in the
natural sciences because they can have unforeseen environmental and human health
consequences. While GMO foods have some potential risks, the benefits outweigh them,
(Freedman, 2024) and research should be conducted with the highest standards of scientific
accuracy and integrity. Governments should also create regulations to ensure GMO safety.
Finally, the public should be informed and educated about the risks of GMOs.
