Who were the change agents at Google, and what did they do that made them change agents? - The main change agent is Meredith Whittaker, Clarie Stapleton alongside Google employees. To change agents they proceeded with a walkout for sexual harassment and abuse. They created a petition (google doc) and signed it advocating against sexual harassment and abuse. 2. What were the internal and/or external forces for change in this case? - The internal forces within this case consist of shifting employee attitudes. To change the perspective and advocate against physical violence and discrimination Google also proceeded with external factors, thus offering sexual training for employees. 3 . How did employees increase driving forces in this case? - They increased driving forces by doing a walkout, by arranging employee committees, and ethics councils. These things were the driving forces for the google employees to protest and demand their needs from the CEO. 4. What techniques for reducing resistance to change could employees use to help make further progress toward change? The techniques for reducing resistance to change employees could use are using communication with higher ups, celebrating milestones, and continuous feedback.
