A Review of Literature for the Environmental Technology in Electric Vehicles
As society is working towards building a cleaner environment for the future, the necessity
to have electric vehicles that are clean is brought to the front of the list. There are many candidates for potential electric vehicles that are the answers to our question. Those solutions come with their own complications to consider when finding the right electric vehicle. What follows is a review of some sources that discuss these very dilemmas and environmental technology for electric vehicles. These sources have some range but are all ultimately credible for my research on electric vehicles.
Points of Agreement
All the sources agree that there is a need to have environmentally friendly electric vehicles that are efficient to run forever. Along with electric vehicles being the current solution for making the air cleaner for the needs of people’s health. The challenge, as noted in the articles,
is that the manufacturing of electric vehicles is great for the environment. There are many companies and organizations working to improve the production process, thankfully. These entities are also researching new environmental technologies for electric vehicles and alternatives to gas powered vehicles, such as the Tesla and many other electric vehicles out on the market today. Finally, there are a couple that focus on being a comprehensive technical reference, and others focus on specific sub-topics of electric vehicles. These are all credible and influential sources. They all agree on the state and the future of the environmental technology of electric vehicles. And all the sites focus on finding a clean and efficient energy solution for the environment that we live in today. One of the main articles that I must acknowledge that it makes
it a good point about the key factors in influencing people to buy electric vehicles is stated in the “Key Factors Influencing Consumers’ Purchase of Electric Vehicles” (Jui-Che Tu, 2019).
3
Points of Disagreement
The articles did have different focuses though, some focusing on the environmental impact of gas-powered vehicles vs electric vehicles along with their potential alternatives that can be provided. Others focus mostly on the need and possibilities of electric vehicles. And others merely focus on the components and history of electric vehicles. Each implies that there is
a trend towards finding better solutions for vehicles and that the focus of such is practical and efficient for the environment. The ends of obtaining better electric vehicle tech justify the means for having them in the future. The articles are credible/reputable. Environmental impacts of hybrid and electric – ProQuest is a reputable source with often credible authors (Hawkins, 2012).
Outliers
The one source that most would consider an outlier would be the “Identification of Potential Barriers to Electric Vehicle Adoption in Oil-Producing Nations—The Case of Saudi Arabia” (Alotaibi, 2022). Others are being science-focused publications which often have writers
who are professionals in each field. And the rest are from universities which are typically good research like submission. I haven't always been aware of the challenge we face regarding electric
vehicles. But this is likely due to the demand for better electric vehicles have grown substantially
only over the past few years with the development of practical electric vehicle solutions and to be able to store power generated from natural resources, such as sunlight and wind.
Dubious Assertions
The one source that most would consider a dubious assertion would be the “Ethics of Self-driving Cars: A Naturalistic Approach. Minds and Machines” (Arfini, 2022). I think that the
ethics of self-driving cars can be dangerous to the environment since you can very easily get into
an accident if the car drives itself without you using any of the steering wheel or pedals in the

A window-and-door-manufacturing plant decided to stop outsourcing the painting of its aluminum components and install its own paint facility. The paint used for this type of metal is known as a powder-coat finish, and the application process is simply blasting the color onto the raw aluminum.
The by-product of the powder finish, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), kept the large paint line filled with a constant mist of dust, and the rest of the VOCs left the room via air ducts and blowers installed in the ceiling and were released into the atmosphere.
After the first year of operation, the regional Environment Protection Agency (EPA) inspector came through and told the owner he did not have proper “scrubbers,” or filters, in the air ducts and was causing harm to the environment around the plant. In fact, the plant was bordered on two sides by residential communities and on two other sides by wooded areas. The fine assessed was…

Manila Bay Beach Nourishment Project
After years of being known for its polluted waters, Manila Bay suddenly got a facelift as the government
decided to take a big risk by overlaying mounds of artificial white sand (dolomite) on a part of the bay's
naturally gray shoreline.
This project, which is spearheaded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), was
instantly met with harsh disapproval. In September, the overlaying of the dolomite in Manila Bay beach or the
beach nourishment project caught public attention, stirring curiosity and setting off waves of people flocking
to the area to get a glimpse of the "white sands".
Many criticized the project, throwing allegations at the DENR, calling the project a health hazard and a waste
of public funds.
But the DENR emphasized that the beach nourishment with the use of dolomite is a significant component of
the rehabilitation aimed to protect the coastal resources in the area and…

There may be more eco-friendly materials and components than you realize in that new Ford you have been considering. The company has increased its use of renewable and recyclable materials with examples as tangible as the soy and bio-based seat cushions and seatbacks on the 2010 Ford Taurus. The Taurus is the eleventh Ford vehicle to feature earth-friendly bio-based seat cushions and seatbacks. Ford has more vehicle models with seats that use soy and other bio-based foams than any other automaker.
The current Ford Mustang, F-150, Focus, Flex, Escape, Expedition and Econoline as well as Mercury Mariner, Lincoln MKS and Navigator also use the sustainable material.
“We already have bio-based foam on more than 2 million vehicles and we’re looking to convert 100 per cent of our fleet to it in the future,” said Jerry Brown, Ford Chief Engineer of Seat and Restraint Engineering. “This is just one way that Ford is advancing the use of eco-friendly materials in the industry.”

Health and Safety Crisis Project Guyana There is a growing challenge in Guyana relative to adopting a health and safety culture. The management of safety issues and priorities has been the poorest in Guyana. Some public officers are forced to work in unsafe and unhealthy conditions such as mold, bat droppings and poor ergonomics. This has activated a person’s allergy, caused some people to develop hyper airway sensitivity and musculoskeletal disorder. Further, there have been ventilation issues and no running water. Some staff complained that they often have to fetch water in buckets to use the bathroom during work hours. This has been reported to management, but nothing has been done. When it comes to safety, in most cases, no one seems to make it a priority in the public sector. Some persons complained of tripping on smooth tiles, stairs and more. There are building regulations; however, not many follow these codes. Most ministry buildings are old and wooden. As it concerns the…

Create a Causal Loop Diagram that illustrates the causal relationships within the renewable energy maintenance sector. The lack of cost-effective maintenance services leads to decreased system performance, which can result in increased maintenance costs and decreased energy production. These factors can ultimately lead to reduced profitability for the renewable energy plant owners and investors. Additionally, limited availability and inconsistent quality of services can contribute to safety risks and can negatively impact the public perception of renewable energy as a reliable and sustainable source of power. Add any other variables that may be relevant too. Thanks!
