2 Marketing Mix Strategy Part 1: Product Strategy The product strategy the ECRH needs is to show that their customers are, especially women, important to the growth of the company. It shows in the report that 36% of women in the service area would travel across the county to receive excellent care. It would be in the best interest of the company to open an opportunity to hire more staff that specialize in women’s care. It shows that 75.7% of women do not have a problem being seen by a Nurse Practitioner. Hiring Nurse Practitioners saves money for the company. This is giving customers a sense that they’re being cared for and have a short wait time to get the care they need. At the same time, it shows that the value of the company is increasing. Part 2: Pricing Strategy: Now that ECRH is making changes to the women’s center, of course, the price must change with the market. But, having NP versus MD to care for their patient, the cost can be very competitive. ECRH is a for-profit organization, but to get more customers to come to visit the facility, they could offer incentive programs to new customers, and offer sample products to patients to try first before they buy them. Lastly, they can offer incentive programs to staff members, so they can retain their staff and motivate them to want to grow with the company. This will be an overall success for the customers and the company.
3 Part 3: Placement Strategy: The placement strategy is all about finding the company’s marketing mix that focuses n where the company sells its products so that they can be available to the target market. The market that we’re focusing on is women’s health services. To attract customers to the new facility, it needs to have state-of-the-art new breast imaging equipment for mammograms. The equipment for pap smears needs to be plastic, not metal ones for comfort. The customer should be able to see what the doctor sees that way the patient is very aware of what is going on with her body, by using vaginal scopes. Technology is much needed for advancement and upgrading to these types of equipment, the organization can provide high-quality health care all around. Part 4: Promotion Strategy: To promote ECRH’s new women’s center is by advertising. The way to advertise is through social media and improving their website. Also, traditional advertising, TV, and radio. It will show the location, and what is being offered by showing new equipment, and inviting waiting rooms and patient rooms. It will have an easy user-friendly application to help with setting up appointments, it will show a list of doctors and their credentials. This will give the patient a sense of control and comfort in who cares for them. The best part of advertising would be to set up same-day appointments, this will eliminate going to the ER for care. You will be able to do all of this on the website.
