Review the vision and mission statement of your current place of work, or for an organization to which you belong. Do you believe it is strong? Why or why not? Apply Porter’s 5 force model to assess whether you believe your company or organization is strongly positioned within their sector and discuss where you see improvements could be made. Would anything change in your decision based on the proposed adaptation of Grundy’s model? Solution: In order to achieve our mission, Popeyes constantly works to deliver its goods and services in a way that respects the dignity, independence, integration, and equality of opportunity of all visitors, including guests with disabilities, so that they may obtain, use, or benefit from the goods or services we offer. Popeyes participates in international initiatives that address the environmental facets of our corporate culture. Management teams should focus on losing market share and gaining it back. "To improve franchisee success in every aspect of the company," reads the mission statement of Popeyes. Popeyes is growing worldwide using tactics that take into account external influences on the business. The company's goal may be determined using Porter's Five Forces Analysis, which also helps with strategic planning to address pressing issues in the company's particular environment. The fast-food sector is an excellent example of Popeye's Five Powers theory in action. As a major provider of food and services, the company has successfully resisted globalisation. The ability to succeed in competition shows that Popeye's strategic vision is effective in managing outside influences. According to the Grundy model, organisations must develop strategies to deal with environmental repercussions while reducing undesirable
results. The corporation should strengthen its weak bargaining position. Management teams should focus on losing market share and gaining it back.
