Course Outcomes
Summarize the basic models and methods of conflict management in organizational settings. Directions
This week you will complete a table and a two page report.
To begin, use the Virtual Library and other scholarly sources to research Kilmann's Five Responses to Conflict Situations (Competing, Accommodating,
Avoiding, Collaborating, and Compromising). Using the information, you have learned from class and from your own research, complete the table in the template in Appendix A of this document (pages 4 and 5). For each row in the table, provide a description/definition of the response to conflict, as well as at least one "pro" and at least one "con.”
Once you have completed the table, read the case study in Appendix B of this document (page 6). You will then write a two-page narrative. The narrative will describe the main conflict seen in the case study and will apply
the possible responses to conflict to the case study. Citations for at least two
outside scholarly resources (and a reference section) must be included as part of your paper.

To enhance its efficacy, incorporating more real-world case studies and practical applications could make the content more meaningful to our respective fields. Practical exercises that simulate scenarios encountered in our workplaces would bridge the gap between theory and application, fostering a deeper understanding of the concepts.
Aligning course content with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies ensures that the skills acquired remain relevant in the dynamic job market.
Engaging in discussions and peer-to-peer learning is essential to comprehensively understanding diverse perspectives and approaches so I appreciated that aspect as I do for each AMU course. Describe how feedback could be provided to the students after the assessment in the below passage.
The teacher first uses the 'Think-Pair-Share' strategy to assess students' understanding of the art critique process and their ability to analyze and interpret art. This involves students thinking individually about a question or problem, discussing their thoughts with a partner, and then sharing their ideas with the class. The teacher observes and listens to the students during the 'pair' and 'share' stages. If students struggle to articulate their thoughts during the 'pair' stage, this indicates that they may need more instruction on how to analyze and interpret art. If students provide insightful comments during the 'share' stage, this indicates that they have a good understanding of the art critique process. The teacher can then adjust instruction to delve deeper into the art critique process. For instance, the teacher could ask students to think about why the artist might have…
