Weather conditions: fairly clear
1.
If you can see the moon, what phase is it in? Third quarter/last quarter
2.
If you can see the moon, where is it located relative to your horizon and a landmark? Around 2 fists below the
horizon and 2 fists to the right of my window.
3.
Choose one planet (Mars, Jupiter or Saturn) and give its location relative to your horizon and a landmark. Jupiter
was visible about 1-2 fists above the horizon
4.
Is there anything else in the sky that you find interesting? I thought it was crazy to be able to spot jupiter in the sky
and be able to measure it.
5.
How do these observations compare to your previous observations? I haven’t made any previous observations.

I thought it was interesting that I could point out more constellations then I used to.

The moon seems to be moving in the same direction below the horizon compared to the past 3 observations, but it
