3814095 Astro 7N October 9, 2023 Art Project 2 A Picninc Under The Stars For my planetary landscape, I decided to create collages using various images I found online and assembled them using Adobe Photoshop. The resulting image is a combination of six different elements that include, the floral landscape, a family having a picnic, a serene lake, rocky mountains, a galaxy-filled sky, two planets, and a colorful Saturn-like planet. My objective was to create a fantasy-like environment, utilizing different layers to construct a unique planetary setting that would also be visually captivating. In my world, there is a breathable atmosphere composed of oxygen and nitrogen, very similar to Earth's, allowing humans and other organisms to breathe freely. I think the main subject would be the family having a picnic or the plantes in the sky. I drew inspiration from Mars' rocky terrain, featuring a photograph of its red mountains as the primary background. I also aimed for a vibrant overall image, shown by the floral fields similar to Earth and the multicolored planets in the sky. Although the landscape may seem fantasy-like and unrealistic, I believe it could be scientifically plausible. The light atmosphere makes the sky appear clear, offering an unobstructed view of the stars and nearby planets. The temperature stays around 80 degrees Fahrenheit due to a slow rotation and a distance from a sun-like star similar to Earth's. The water from the lake serves to water the field's flowers, while the mountains in the backdrop appear red due to iron oxide deposits. Creating this landscape required a lot of artistic license, picturing a landscape that I've never seen before and one that may not exist as far as we know. However, I drew inspiration from planets such as Earth, Mars, and Saturn to help create my landscape. If I could revisit and make changes in the future, I would consider adding more diverse forms of life, including animals.
