Jesus Miguel Molina Quintero Professor Valk Jacobous AST1002 15 October 2023 The Sun Activity: 1. The book H-R diagram labels areas for the Main Sequence, Giant Stars, and Dwarfs. Indicate and label these regions on your graph. The many areas of the White Dwarf Region, the Main Sequence Region, and the Red Giant Region are depicted on my graph. 2. Interpret your graph. a- I would have anticipated greater representation in the white dwarf section of my graph, particularly in the lower left region. I anticipated to see stars in the near-white dwarf zone. b. The temperature, mass, and composition of the stars varies between the near and brilliant stars. The stars closest to the Sun and the Earth appear to be colder and older. These stars are also redder in appearance because they appear to be more abundant and crowded together around the Sun. While the hotter and younger stars are far past the sun and appear to be more spread out, they are more blue than red in hue. The disparities between stars are current because not all stars can be formed of the same temperature, particularly when their position differs from that of every other star. The size and temperature of stars are significant in classifying them.
