2 Dr. Gonzalez, I hope you had a fantastic, relaxing weekend. The organization of choice for the signature assignment will be the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) . I went forward with this organization because it advocates and tackles specific Issues within the LGBTQ+ community. There is so much hate towards the community, and I like that GLAAD has directly inspired positive LGBTQ+ cultural representation by nurturing understanding and holding social media platforms accountable for misinformation. It hits home even more, being a part of the community. GLAAD protects all that has been accomplished and envisions a world with 100% LBGTQ+ acceptance (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, GLAAD).
