Thinking about taking this class five weeks ago, I was nervous and anxious at the same time. I did not know anything about C.S. Lewis and the things he had done, so this was the wrong class for me. As each week went by, I learned more and more about C.S. Lewis, and I knew I made a great choice to stay and stick the class out. I have learned so much about him from doing my research and reading everyone's discussion each week. My teacher and classmates made me feel special and pushed me through. Reading C.S. Lewis these past five weeks within my faith journey was very simple. Going to church, growing up church, we studied things and different beliefs, and they were similar to the things C.S. Lewis talked about. Many pastors of other churches have shared the teaching of their writing that is well understood regardless of age. C.S. Lewis took the time because of his heart and desire to share with other writers to uplift them, and also for himself, it took him time to find his way and relationship as a man to bear his fruit as a Christian Man. Life does not mean it will not be a time to use his writings or quotes that will be up to my purpose; the place is not in the equation as of this writing time. C.S. Lewis was a very Christian man who stood for his beliefs. Also, if C.S. Lewis told you he was a friend to you, he meant it from the bottom of his heart. C.S. Lewis stopped being in his feelings about how people treated him and started putting his feelings into his writing. It took many times, but it took him to find God and his relationship to bring his soul peace. In my sharing below, the journey of the children found in Chapter 2 expands this reasoning: The sharing of Tumnus (a Faun) and Lucy. A bond developed as they chatted, sipping on tea and playing a tune for her, which she "wanted to scream and play all at the same time." When it was time for Lucy to leave, Mr. Tumnus did not want her to go, and tears began to flow. Lucy gave him a handkerchief to wipe his eyes weeping. When we bond in
real life in this time of a Pandemic or this new 2020, connecting with someone still holds a life treasure.
Throughout the five weeks, Mere Christianity was my favorite that he has written. Mere Christianity had several things that impacted us, along with his writings. Any ideas we build up as to how Christ's death did all this, some of these theories are worth looking at. C.S. Lewis's writings have not had significant influence or shared in any part of a struggle in my faith. I learned about C.S. Lewis and his literature in this class, and I recommend everyone to read his story, Mere Christianity because it is one of the greatest of all times. Many pastors and great leaders have used C.S. Lewis's words and quotes to teach others and to get by. Next, the three things that spread the Christ-life to us are baptism, belief, and that mysterious action which different Christians call by other names. Holy Communion, the Mass, the Lord's Supper. "For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me."In the same way, after supper, he took the cup, saying, "This
cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." Whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes (1 Corinthians 11: 23-24). In conclusion, C.S. Lewis is one of the sweetest, kind-hearted, and most hardworking men I have ever known from reading and learning about him. He did everything that he felt was the right thing to do, and it was hard to run across people like that. These past five weeks have been amazing, learning different things about him and knowing about his life. I recommend it to others who are scared to take this class, not because it will turn out great. I thought by being a

man, I wouldn't have an interest in this class, but I was wrong. I look forward to seeing what my future courses offer, and I hope the exciting at this one.
