Challenges working with individuals with autism Communication and behavior are big challenges when it comes to working with those with autism. These individuals may have trouble controlling their behavior and condoning in simple interaction. This can be a huge struggle because as a human service professional, it is my duty to understand the feelings of the individual. These factors can make it very difficult to do so.
Mental Health Disabilities A mental health disability is defined as a disorder that affects someones’s mental (mind) well-being. Examples include: Schizophrenia Bipolar depression Antisocial personality disorder Aspergers syndrome
Challenges working with individuals with individuals with mental health disabilities There are many different challenges of working with individuals with mental health disabilities. These challenges can range from mood changes to disruptive behaviors. It is a huge struggle to work with those who are mentally challenged. You never know what they are going through.
