A cognitive disability specifically refers to a condition that greatly affects someones brain and their ability to perform daily tasks and activities.

Some common struggles of dealing with those cognitive disabilities is the overall challenge with their conditions, understand their situation, emphathizing with their feelings, dealing with some of the syptoms from the cognitive disabilities, and dealing with their various emotions.

Physical disabilities
A physical disability is defined as any condition that influences a decrease in physical activity and completion of everyday tasks.
Examples include:

Some challenges pertaining to working with physically disabled individuals are immobility, struggles with completing certain tasks, dealing with their everyday struggles, understanding their frustration with their difficult situations, and dealing with the emotions connected to their disability.
Autism
Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, is a disorder that deals with an effect of a person’s communication and behavior. Autism is a very common disorder especially in younger children.
Some symptoms of autism include:

Difficulty in body mobility

Challenges working with individuals with autism
Communication and behavior are big challenges when it comes to working with those with autism. These individuals may have trouble controlling their behavior and condoning in simple interaction. This can be a huge struggle because as a human service professional, it is my duty to understand the feelings of the individual. These factors can make it very difficult to do so.
Mental Health Disabilities
A mental health disability is defined as a disorder that affects someones’s mental (mind) well-being.
Examples include:

Schizophrenia
●
Bipolar depression
●
Antisocial personality disorder
●
Aspergers syndrome
Challenges working with individuals with individuals with mental health disabilities
There are many different challenges of working with individuals with mental health disabilities. These challenges can range from mood changes to disruptive behaviors. It is a huge struggle to work with those who are mentally challenged. You never know what they are going through.
