Weekly Curriculum Plan Template Part 1 - Curriculum Learning Goals To create an effective curriculum, you must first purposefully develop learning goals. To ensure that goals and objectives are DAP consider what is age-appropriate, what is individually appropriate, and what is culturally and socially appropriate for the learners for whom you are planning the curriculum. To write a goal, use verbs (action words) to describe what children will learn or do throughout the curriculum plan.
Example Goal: Young children will appreciate nature by exploring the outdoors.
Age Group:3 Year olds
Goal 1: Getting to know the outside Objective 1: Tell the difference from outside and indoors. Objective 2: Talk about what they see and feel. Goal 2: physical movement Objective 1: can they run and jump.
Objective 2: Are they able to use their gross motors. Goal 3: Talking nice and being kind to our friends Objective 1: Having conversations with our friends about what’s outside Objective 2:Playing and being kind
