Hello Dr. Lori, thank you for responding to my original post and for your insight concerning people that had to quit school after 8 th grade to work out in the fields. Thank you for sharing about people in your family which got me to reflect on the people in my family. My mom, father, grandparents, and many others in my family had to quit school either before or after 8 th grade to work to help the family provide for the younger children, especially in big families. I tend to forget about how people lived before the 20 th century as away of life.
