This means that the individuals best adapted to their environment are more likely to survive and reproduce, passing their genes to the next genera±on. One of these evolu±onary changes includes becoming bipedal, standing upright, and freeing the hands to manipulate tools to hunt. Darwin accredits this evolu±onary change to men because of their innate ability to care for their families. Basically saying that women did not influence our evolu±on process.
