Complete all three parts of the “Decolonization is for Everyone: Identity Formation in the Canadian Context learning bundle (From Bundle part 1 to 3 parts), including the Knowledge Keeper Segment with Marlene Pierre (4 segments) 2. Take notes on important concepts from Part 1 and 2; take notes on parts of Marlene Pierre’s interview that related to concepts we have treated in the class. 3. Write a 600-800 word reflection responding to prompt below, using at least 1 concept from “Decolonization is for Everyone” and 1 concept from previous weeks’ lectures (for example: cultural hegemony, systemic racism, etc.). Remember to identify and define the concept. Include references (short quotes and paraphrasing) to Marlene Pierre’s interview. Question : Reflect on the life experiences that Marlene Pierre shares with us. How do Pierre’s experiences influence your understanding of settler colonialism in Canada? Use at least 1 concept from “Decolonization is for Everyone” and 1 concept from previous weeks’ lecture in your reflection.
