Reintroduction of Tule Elk at Point Reyes Seashore National Park in the late 1970s was made as a recovery effort for this species. Answer the following questions: (see the reading on Tule Elk) a. Tule Elk have long gestation periods and typically have 6-10 offspring. They have an average 12-year life span and gradually die off as they get older. This is a type 2 survivorship curve because of the even dying off from birth to death.
