Invasive plants were impécted negatively causing more negative experiences in reproducing, multiplying, and not creating the same traits as they once had. While on the other hand, native plants were able to thrive creating m;Jre of the same traits not having to evolve to stay alive as the invasive plants had to. This is relevant to us today because in California there is a drought and the plants that don't receive .water are more lik%ly to die and have a greater reduction in growth and development. While the plants that we humans take care of and water every day, those plants have more of a chance of reproducing and multiplying. Those plants won't have a negative impact since they are well-watered and taken care of.
