Basic Terminology, Homeostasis, and Chemistry Worksheet
Define the terms ANATOMY and PHYSIOLOGY:
Anatomy is the study of body.
Physiology is the study of the function of body parts and how they interact with one another.
Describe the position a patient needs to be in to be in anatomical position.
The patient needs will be in the standing upright position and forward facing with each arm hanging on either side of the body with the palms facing forward.

The heart is ________posterior____________ to the sternum.
The elbow is ____________proximal_______________ to the wrist.
The head is ______________superior_______________ to the abdomen.
