Compare the prices, suitability and storage capacity of a laptop with predetermined specifications and its further customized upgrade done on the dell website www.dell.com.

Explanation of Solution
Given:
Dell is considered as the fastest manufacturing company on earth and specializes in computer customization. Connect to Dell’s website www.dell.com and visit the portion that allows you to customize either a laptop or desktop. Choose an already prepared system and compare its CPU speed, RAM size, monitor quality and storage capacity with the customized version of it based on same parameters.
The system under investigation is XPS 1500 touch.
The configurations of the system are listed below.
Standard | Customized | |
---|---|---|
Name | Dell, XPS 15 Touch | Dell, XPS 15 Touch |
Cost | $1899 | $2159 |
RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB (cannot be customized) |
Hard Drive | 256GB(included in price) | 512GB ($200) |
Operating System | Windows 10 Home, x64 | Windows 10 Pro, x64 ($60) |
The only hardware modification that can be done in the system is in its storage capacity. The customized system is the one that is more preferred by me. As, it comes with the 16GB internal RAM and the extra storage capacity of 256GB with an increased cost of $200. Also, the operative system is upgraded from the standard Windows 10 home to Windows 10 Pro. It is also recommended from the company’s website.
Conclusion:
Customization capability provided by dell on its products is extremely useful from consumer perspective. A single product model can satisfy the needs of large number of customers who have varying requirements in terms of RAM, CPU speed and storage capacity.

How can deep inheritance structures impact the maintainability and readability of code?arrow_forwardAnswer the Java OOP question below: Explain the relationship between a superclass and a subclass. How do the principles of encapsulation and abstraction play a role in this relationship? In your experience, how do you decide what should be included in a superclass versus a subclass? - Prompt I was wondering about the first Summer Olympics after WWII. Who were some event winners and which country took home the most gold medals (also 2nd and 3rd would be nice to know). Response Response A Response B The first Summer Olympics after WWII took place in the 1940s, a bit more than 50 years before the turn of the millennium in the year 2000. The 1948 Summer Olympics were held during the summer of 1948 and hosted by London, United Kingdom. Event Winners: Generating a full, comprehensive, and complete list of winners would cause the response to become unnecessarily complex and lengthy, so I will instead list a few notable event winners for the sake of simplicity. Some notable champions are: Bob Mathias (USA): At just age 17, he won gold in the decathlon. Fanny Blankers-Koen (Netherlands): Blankers-Koen secured four gold medals in the following track and field competitions: 100m, 200m, 80m hurdles, 4x100m relay.
