Question
Chapter A, Problem 1PA
To determine
Creation of four quadrants using x- and y- axes.
Expert Solution & Answer

Explanation of Solution
Quadrants are used to refer to four quarters of the coordinate plane. Coordinate plane has an x-axis, which divides into top and bottom half, and y-axis, which divides into left and right half.
The givenfour points are:
- When the value of 'X' is 1, the value of 'Y' is 4.
- When the value of 'X' is -2, the value of 'Y' is 1.
- When the value of 'X' is -3, the value of 'Y' is -3.
- When the value of 'X' is 3, the value of 'Y' is -2.
The following graph plots the points of values of 'X' and corresponding 'Y' values.
Horizontal line is the X-axis and vertical line is Y-axis.

- 5. We learnt the following equation in the class: Ak = sy - (n + 8)k where y = ko. Now, I transform this equation into: Ak/k = sy/k - (n + 8). I want you to use a diagram to show the steady state solution of this equation (In the diagram, there will be two curves - one represents sy/k and one represents (n + 8). In the steady state, of course, Ak/k = 0). In this diagram, the x-axis is k. What will happen to this diagram if the value of n increases?arrow_forwardNot use ai pleasearrow_forward3.
