Server-side:

In a computer network, server-side refers to the operations that are performed by server in a client and server relationship. It can be also defined as the computer application that performs all the tasks that may be response to the client requests or may be non-client oriented.

Server-side scripting:

It is the technology that executes the server-side script on a web server so as to dynamically generate the web pages.
