To write a query to display the list of all books that have been ordered by a customer, the corresponding order number, and the state in which the customer resides. Required SQL query: SELECT title, o.order#, c.state FROM books b OUTER JOIN orderitems i OUTER JOIN orders o OUTER JOIN customers c ON c.customer# = o.customer# AND o.order# = i.order# AND i.isbn = b.isbn; Explanation: SELECT keyword will allow the user to retrieve the required values. By providing the table name, FROM can be used to search the database and return the desired data. WHERE is used to specify a condition based on which the data is to be retrieved. AND is used to specify that both conditions must be satisfied. ON clause is basically used in joining the columns who are having different names. The JOIN Clause is a special keyword in SQL (structured Query Language), which is used to combine the rows from two or more tables in the database. In the above SQL query, it selects the field title from the book table and order# from the orders table, and the filed state from the customer's table. The result of the above query selects all the books in the Books table.
