Concept introduction: The musculoskeletal system of the body is composed of two types of systems, namely the skeletal system (bones and joint) and the soft tissues (skeletal muscles, ligaments, and tendons). A joint is referred to as the meeting of two bones (such as the shoulder). The function of the joints is to supply stability and mobility to the skeleton.
