Introduction:

All living organisms need to circulate nutrients in order to survive. Various organs develop in different ways to transport materials inside their body. In most multi-cellular organisms, the transport of materials happens through a system as a small surface area to volume ratio slows down the process of diffusion. Both plants and animals have a developed transport system to circulate essential nutrients and eliminate waste products.
