Summary Introduction

To discuss: The hypothesis of primate origins and the environmental pressures which are associated in these hypothesis.

Introduction:

The taxonomic order originated about fifty million years ago. Multiple hypotheses are based on the attributes identified in primates which are living and extinct which are arboreal and visual acuity adaptions which are proposed to explain the true primates arose in past times. The fossils of ancestor’s primates are found in many parts of the globe. The locations and appearances of fossils illuminate the period of significant evolutionary scenarios which are shaped the primates orders.

Explanation of Solution

The arboreal hypothesis is proposed to explain the primate origins, where it states that the scheme of the primates have exceptional suite of traits which in the variation to living in the trees. This hypothesis influences the anthropologists thinking on origin and evolution of primates.

The visual predation hypothesis is proposition of exceptional primate traits which arose as adaptions to predatory on insects and on smaller animals. This hypothesis explains the visual amendments, intelligence and avaricious abilities of primates.

The angiosperm radiation hypothesis says about the procurement of fresh food springs available in the initial Cenozoic.
