Program Plan Intro

Location of source files:

• A source file has to be located in a subdirectory that suits the name of the package.
• The naming sections between periods reflect consecutively nested directories.
• For example, the source files for classes in the package “com.horstmann.bigjava” would be placed in a subdirectory “com/horstmann/bigjava”.
• Inside the base directory, user need to put the subdirectory containing the files of program.
• For example, if user do a homework assignment in the “/home / britney / hw8/problem1” directory, he/she can place class files in the “/home / britney / hw8/problem1/com / horstmann / bigjava” directory for the “com.horstmann.bigjava” package.
