To review:
Water intoxication cannot occur because water is so easily excreted by the body.
Introduction:
Water plays an important part in our body as it maintains the homeostasis and constitutes major part of the cells. The water is lost through several processes and thus it is very important to maintain the balance of water in our body. This is done to avoid dehydration, death of cells, organ failure, and heat stroke. But at the same time, it does not imply that overconsumption or intoxication of water cannot have any adverse effect on our body as it is excreted out. Overconsumption has several adverse effects.
