Here,

datatype – Data type name

arrayName – Name of the array

size – It indicates the size of the array

Subscripts:

  • Each and every element in an array is assigned to a special value called as subscripts or indexes.
  • The starting number of subscript or index is “[0]”.
  • Indexes are used to find out specific value from the array.
  • The first element in an array is assigned to the index value “[0]”.
  • The last element in an array is assigned to the index value “[n-1]” where “n” is the number of elements in an array.
