Knee joint is a type of synovial joint. It is the largest and most complex joint of all the synovial joints. It allows the movement of lower leg relative to thigh. This joint also supports the body weight. It is a very important joint because of its activities like, sitting, running, standing, and walking which are very important for the movement of a person from one place to another.
