Methods would include looking at different treatment by justice departments on the basis of income. Most films and advertising portray everyday life in low- and middle-income countries as simpler and more authentic, but downplay or ignore struggles and injustices that also occur. These films often cast a very blind eye to the institutional barriers that keep people in cycles of poverty and need.
