Voice Portal:

Voice portal is a service equivalent to web portals which give access to information through voice and spoken commands.

It could be an access point for any type of information, transaction, service which is available in the internet. For example, a person can dial a number and then then he/ she can request for some kind of information either by speaking or typing it on the telephone keypad. The response is delivered in the form of voice.

For example one can get the score of the football game. The voice portal will take the input and search for the information in the database. If the input matches with the database, then it gives the required answer thorough voice.

Voice portal is of two types. They are:

Consumer voice portal

Enterprise voice portal
