Introduction:

Wind pollination or anemophily refers to a kind of pollination in which the pollen gets distributed through the wind. The majority of gymnosperms are anemophilous. The wind-pollinated flower exhibits a larger production of pollen grains and comprises exposed anther. The wind-pollinated flowers are not scent emitting and attractive and comprise sticky and feathery stigma. The flowers do not contain nectar.
