Two-dimensional arrays:
- • A two-dimensional (2D) array can store multiple collections of data.
- • It contains rows and columns of elements.
- • In two-dimensional array, normally the first subscript is called as row size and the second subscript is called as column size.
- • The format to declare the two-dimensional array is given below:
dataType[,] eleName= new dataType [row_size, column_size];
- • Where,
- ○ “dataType” indicates the type of data such as “int”, “double”, “string”, and so on.
- ○ “eleName” indicates the two-dimensional array variable.
- ○ “row_size” indicates the size of row.
- ○ “column_size” indicates the size of column.
