Introduction: During consumption of food, an intake of glucose occurs along with many other components, including fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and others. For the breakdown of these, an integration of different metabolic pathways, for instance, fat metabolic pathway, protein metabolic pathway and glucose metabolic pathway is required.
