Introduction:
Lymphatic system is one of the major systems of the body that is comprised of the lymphatic vessels and the lymphatic organs. This system is in association with that of the cardiovascular system. The major functions of the lymphatic system include the absorption of the excess interstitial fluid, absorption of fats by the lacteals, production maintenance and distribution of the lymphocytes and it is involved in the defense from the pathogens.
