Summary Introduction

Case Summary:

The grandmother of Mary slipped and fell heavily to the floor. The left limb of her was laterally rotated and becomes shorter than right, she felt severe pain when tried to get up. Mary assumed that she might have “fractured hip” which later proved right by the doctor. The hip fracture is common in elderly. The reason for the fracture and its common occurrence in elders is to be discussed here.
