Introduction:

After the important information moves to the short-term memory, where it lasts for about 30 seconds, it enters the third stage called long-term memory, where it lasts almost permanently. However, it’s not necessary that an individual can retrieve all the long-term memories. This type of memory stores information regarding the facts (declarative memory) and skills (non-declarative memory).
