To determine:
The use of each type of memory; procedural, episodic and semantic, while an individual think about a typical day
Concept introduction:
Memory is explained as the capacity to recollect all events, experiences, and information that is stored in the central nervous system. Memory is of two types: short term memory and long term memory. The long term memory has the capacity to store and retrieve information for longer durations even up to years. All the three procedural, episodic and semantic memories come under the category of long-term memory. Episodic memory is related to the events of a person’s life. In semantic memory, a person recalls the past events of his life. Procedural memory is responsible for the stored memories.
