Question
Chapter 6, Problem 70E
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation:
From among the space-filling molecular images, the compounds soluble in water are to be identified.
Concept Introduction:
A polar bond is formed between elements with different electronegativities. Due to uneven electron distribution, there is charge separation resulting in a dipole.
In polar molecules like water, the positive end of the molecule attracts the negative end of its neighbouring molecule. This attraction keeps water molecules together.
