Summary Introduction

Concept introduction: A theory that explains the formation of multicellular organelles from prokaryotic organism is called as the endosymbiotic theory. Prokaryotic organisms are simple unicellular organisms that lack the membrane-bound organelle, whereas eukaryotic organisms possess complex membrane–bound organelles inside the cell.
