The gingivitis is termed as the inflammation of the gingiva. The gingivitis is a plaque formation by a naturally occurring bacteria that forms a film in the gum linings. The plaque that is formed by the bacteria produces a toxin that is irritable to gums. The gums appear red and swollen. The symptoms can be bad breath, bleeding gums, toothache, and ulcers.
