
Introduction
There are two different ways in which we remember information. Implicit remembering is when we are not trying to remember something, it just happens naturally. We might not even be aware that we are learning something. Explicit remembering is when we are making an effort to remember something. We are fully aware that we are learning something and we are making an effort to do so.
Once the actual remembering/learning process is complete, how we take that information and put it into our long term storage is how we make memories. There are two types of memories, episodic and semantic. The difference between these types of memories depend on how directly they relate to us and how they are presented.
