Answer to Problem 1DQ

The operations of the company are not in line for supporting the implementation of lean concepts and practices. Hence, the company needs to rethink its current operational activities.

Explanation of Solution

Given information: Verification of whether the successful implementation of lean concepts and practices, operations of the company are in line or not.

The lean system requires the operations of a company to be in a flexible manner. Unfortunately, CKC operations are not in a flexible manner. The customer base of the company is segregated only into two categories:

1. Delivering only, and,
2. Deliver and serve

The limitations in the operations of the company also include, the company not being able to serve instant orders, as the design of the operational activities system is limited to serving orders that have come through advance booking.

Further, the food items on the menu are also minimal. Despite, the company uses high-quality materials and conforms to good quality output, it can be noticed that the company is not able to maintain flexibility in its operations. And, this is hindering to the adaptation technique for meeting the changes in the market demands.

Introduction:Teamwork and involvement among the students in a class promises higher productivity levels and a qualitative learning experience.

Answer to Problem 1DQ

The students in a class will be able to achieve higher grades in their studies, when they are inculcated with proper coordination among them and also achieve morality in their relations.

Explanation of Solution

Group coordination among the students is known for contributing and inculcating active participation among the students, which include, sharing ideas, discussing the concepts, and sharing information. Such a group practice provides the new entrants and other learners to easily grab and understand new concepts.

In addition to learning of concepts, the group coordination among the students also aids them in being sportive towards other students, and thereby increases their morality.
